My career journey has been heavily influenced by various mentors. Their assistance clinically, support and reassurance, and the opportunities created by them for me have been invaluable.

When starting a mentoring connection it is important to prepare goals and expectations, acknowledge the time commitment – both for yourself and for your mentor and finally remember you get out what you put in.
